CHALLENGE
While the Michelin Guide is widely known, few truly understands how the award is earned. As part of OpenTable’s quarterly fine dining publication, the issue Michelin Tasting Menu is a data visualization broadsheet demystifying the prestigious world of Michelin Stars.

We presented thorough data visualizations and analyses to provide context for the Michelin Star, showcase the global distribution of restaurants, and break down price points and reviews. From this data, we encourage readers to form their own judgment on whether it’s worth the cost.
